We’re running a comp here in North Carolina where we have penalty points assigned to each pilot based on the glider category they’re flying. Currently we have to assign those penalty points manually for each task (tedious to say the least). Is there any way to include their penalty points in a custom field in the pilot list and have that automatically attributed to them for each task?

No, unfortunately, this is not an option right now. We’ve talked about handicap systems a bit, but so far nothing has come up that seems to be fair, understandable and straight forward. The comps I know of who used them stopped using them again after 1 or 2 years, mostly for fairness and pilot acceptance reasons. We may pick it up again if demand is high enough.
