If a pilot fails to take off and break the glider. What should be their status?
ABS: I think not. He was on takeoff.
DNF: I think not. He decided to take off and he took off a little (just a step).
DF: I think so. And he should score with minimum distance.
Those few points could be important.

Yes, I agree that DF would cover the situatuon of a failed takeoff and broken glider. The pilot intended to fly the task, but failed, so min distance is OK.
isn’t there something about controlled flight somewhere?.
a small step is not (in my mind) controlled flight 🙂
i would be mean and give him DNF, as it would seem to me he didn’t.
