<p>Could you change the page "A day in the life of a scorer" line 9th sentence</p>
<p>"He expects about 30-40 pilots, so he quickly make the numbers 1-40 in the id column, then saves the Workbook to the "Hemsedal Open 07" folder. "</p>
    <p>to</p>
<p>"He expects about 30-40 pilots, so he quickly make the numbers 1-40 in the id column, then saves the Workbook as "Geographical files(*.wpt)” to the "Hemsedal Open 07" folder. ”</p>
<p>In the GpsDump there are several file format to save as.<br />
So this is more understanding, right?<br />
    How do you think?</p>
<p>Or FsComp will open the other format in the Task definition page?</p>

    Hi!

I think the way it is originally described is correct. The Excel workbook is used to make the pilot list, not the waypoint list. The point of using the Excel workbooks is to make it easier and quicker to get the list of pilots for the competition ready. The workbook is saved as a .fsdb XML file by using the macro function of the workbook.

The waypoint files are not included in the .fsdb file, but is kept separate to be read when you set up the tasks, and to download to the GPS devices. The waypoint file needs to be in the UTM or Geographical WPT format written by GpsDump

I hope this clears it up, do not hesitate to ask if you have more questions.

Also the “day in the life of a scorer” is some of the first docs written, and there might be some references to older functionality that have been changed.

Also note that you can edit the pages in the Wiki as you wish, they are open for anyone to improve and correct errors.
