Exellent! I’ll test these and include them in the distribution!
Thanks Roberto!
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantHi,
Thanks for the report, I’ve updated the link.
PS – You could have done it directly yourself and saved some time, it’s a Wiki…
Best regards,
OyvindOyvind EllefsenParticipantDid you check the IGC file for errors? Did you look at the part of the IGC file where FS stop scoring the pilot and why it stops there?
– Oyvind
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantWhat are the locale settings of your PC? What country and time format? I’ve seen similar problems in the past when Windows did not have a “real” format for time&date.
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantHi,
Did you unpack the zip file in a folder, and run fsflight from that folder?
What is your operating system?
Do you have .NET installed?
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantRoberto,
That is strange, I had to delete lots of spam users some time back, but your user is still in there. Can you please try to set a new password here in the forum, and then try to re-login in Trac?
If that does not work there is probably an error in the authentication system, and I will look into that. Please let me know if it works!
– Oyvind
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantHi,
As described on the front page you need to be registered and logged in to be able to register a ticket (Otherwise we get tons of spam tickets)
Use the login link on the top right of the frontpage (Same user and password as in the forum)
Let me know if you still have problems!
– Oyvind
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantI completely agree that FS should handled the error in a more graceful way.
You have found a bug, please report it as a ticket so it can be followed up and fixed.
Tickets are created from the fs.fai.org page

Oyvind EllefsenOyvind EllefsenParticipantHave a look at the updated documents for GAP, under ScoringForumulas in the Wiki. – http://fs.fai.org/wiki/ScoringFormulas
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantThere are as far as I know no strict requirement to use GAP in a CIVL Cat 2 comp, but without compatible scores it might be difficult to get the WPRS points 🙂
Thanks for the links and info, as you can see elsewhere in the forum we are looking for developers to pick up on the development of FS, implementing new scoring forumulas are on the list of things that needs to be done.
– Oyvind
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantI’ve not seen AAT used in a CIVL Cat 2 comp, it’s popular in Sailplane comps. But it might be something to look into. I suggest you make a ticket with a feature request, describing how you would like to see the format implemented and with links to rules/descriptions if possible.
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantHi,
I have never tried to score such a short task, and I do not think it is a good idea to use GAP to score something like this as you will have strange and unpredictable results for a 5 minute, 3 km task…
One of the advantages with FS is that it does calculate the shortest possible distance of the task, and you have just proven that it works 🙂
– Oyvind
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantHi,
FS does not have a module for scoring AAT tasks (yet).
Do you see a big need for scoring AAT in Hang/Paragliding comps?
– Oyvind
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantSomeone might be interested in this?
Oyvind EllefsenParticipantHi,
Is the problem only one pilot, or all pilots in the task? Did you use FS before, so you know it works on your computer?
What does your task look like, and how did you download the tracklog, from what GPS?
In short – More information is needed…
Best regards,
