​Gpsbabel is a very useful utility to convert between lots of GPS file formats. It will save to the standard XML format GPX, and also support KML directly.

​Garmin USB Drivers Link to the Garmin support site, where the USB drivers for communications with the different Garmin GPS models with USB interface are located. You will need these drivers to handle Garmin USB only GPS units. The same drivers support all the different units. Also see the GpsDump documentation.
