FSDUMP – NEW VERSION March 2010

<p>Hello friends.<br />
The new version that was tested and aproved in Valadares is ready for download.</p>

<p>You need to put the GPSDUMP version 4.46 in the same folder that resides FsDump.</p>
<p>But if you need to use other version of GPSDUMP you must to edit the config.xml</p>
<p>You can also put New kind of GPS inside the config.xml in order to use it with the version of gpsdump that you are using.</p>

<p>to use the GpsDump version 4.47 change the config.xml to</p>

<p>to use the new Compass device Behind this line<br />

<p>See that you can not upload waypoints to Compass.. only can download Log<br />
since dwpt="" ( no protocol for downloading waypoint )<br />
and uwpt="" ( no protocol for uploading waypoint )</p>
<p>If Stein Sorensen put some new features or support for new devices in the GPSDUMP it will be easy to have it working only changing the xml file.</p>
<p>Today the Flymaster-B1 nav uses for uploading waypoints the iqcompeo protocol, and is not possible for downloading waypoints with gpsdump</p>

<p>In the future if Stein put the protocol to work, whatever it will be.. you can implement only changing the xmlfile<br />
then the line of xml config will be like this</p>

<p>Note also in the XcTrainer.. you can also put others protocols to work..</p>
<p>Another previewed feature will be to score the Competition using some perl scripts ported from Airscore from Geoff Wong to .net language</p>
<p>why ? Because FsCompe is not Open Source and we can not do anything about that. The goal will be to transform FsDump in to a new Scoring System compatible with Fscompe, but also incorporating some of PWC Rules and A retrieval system with SMS..</p>
