    <p>Hello everybody, when I try to add a new task to FS I get an error message that says "The following lines in the wpt file could not be parsed into waypoints:<br />
    WGS 84<br />
    Reserved 2<br />
    Reserved 3<br />
    blah blah blah and so on."</p>
    <p>What the heck is going on? My garmin is already set to WGS 84 in the setup menu.

    I believe you have saved the waypoints in the wrong format. GPSdump can save the waypoints in two formats with the same extension wpt. You should use the one called geographical(wpt) (i think). I got the same error and I believe this was the solution.
